• Iten's Punch Press department uses its material capabilities and cost effective tool design to meet your low and high volume specialized stamping needs. We provide engineering support at start-up and during product refinement to help you capture more new applications.
• There are no limitations to your punching needs. We can punch parts as small as .062 to full sheets of material.
• Our 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility houses 35 presses with a range of capabilities from 10-100 tons, and speeds up to 1000spm. We are a primary supplier of parts to the leading lighting, breaker and transformer manufactures and utilize our 80+ years of experience in laminate processing to meet your punching application.

Specialized Designs:

We can turn around very complicated prototypes in less than a week with CNC punching and low cost, low volume steel rule dies.

Applications:
• Electrical insulation: Wherever there is a need to provide electrical insulation whether it be in a commercial or residential application.
• Power distribution: We supply parts that go into many transformer applications.
• Motors and Drives: End fibers for motor windings, brush cards, slot insulations and rotor vanes.
• Switchgear: Single pole to multi-pole insulations for breakers. We supply covers, actuators, face plates, arc stack sides and any non-metallic piece in a breaker.
• Transportation: Insulations for trolleys, brake wheel covers.
• Sanding Discs: We provide all styles of backing plate’s from rounds, rectangles, to corner backing plates. Materials range from canvas, G10 and fibre.
• Mechanical Spacers: Replacements for metal washers. Non-corrosive and often cheaper while providing insulation capabilities.

Materials:
• All NEMA grade laminates, thermoplastic and thermoset. Process any non-metallics, ie Formex, Nylon, Polypro, Lexan; Nomex, Kapton, advise your application and we will pick the material best for you.
